VOTER REGISTRATION

DEADLINE for REGISTERING for NOVEMBER 3, 2009 ELECTION:
October 5, 2009 at 9:00pm

If you have never voted before or have not voted in the last two federal (presidential) elections – REGISTER

If you have moved or changed your name since you last registered – REGISTER

If you are registered elsewhere but temporarily residing in Athens (for example, OU students) and want to vote in Athens on November 4th – REGISTER

WHERE YOU CAN REGISTER:
Any board of elections office or the Secretary of State’s office
Any public high school or vocational school
Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices
Offices of designated agencies that provide public assistance or disability programs
Public libraries
County treasurers’ offices
Mailing in a completed form

VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS can be requested from any board of elections office or the Secretary of States office by mail, e-mail, telephone, in person, by having another person obtain it for you, or by downloading it
